“Just a bit of feedback on the wonderful The Red One, which is a super addition to the line-up, nothing you possibly haven’t heard but:

 - Packaging- As with our Green friend, I love the texture and feeling of the can in the hand. I can’t honestly think of another canned drink which combines this textured feel with the glossy flecks of paint on things like the flowers and botanicals painted on the side. Absolutely gorgeous and important detail! Really sets this apart from anything I’ve seen. I also like the “stiffness” and thickness of the metal can itself. Even premium drinks (like those S** ******** cans) have now become very thin, light and flimsy, which feels slightly underwhelming.

I think the feel of the can supports your premium narrative (especially the liquid!), sets the tone, and you’ve nailed it with this combination of weight, stiffness, texture and colouring detail (matt & gloss paint flecks across the design). A real win! I also like the shade of red you’ve run with in the base colour; very distinctive.

-Liquid- I noted the deep, vibrant shade of red on pouring this. Very satisfying colour, almost has a winey quality to the colour! Enticing.

Very agreeable earthy, rooty, leafy notes run with the fruit. This has a real gentle balance between red fruit sweetness and very interesting savoury notes. Pomegranate for me works a treat here. I love the combination pink/ red ingredients on show, and things like hibiscus, pink peppercorn, red bush, sage & yarrow are fascinating and really add interest! A really grown-up savoury quality on show. It’s very balanced in terms of sweetness, which feels entirely natural. Also lingers slightly on the finish, which I especially enjoyed.

I think it’s a really exciting drink this Red one! Bravo to you for all the hard work that’s clearly gone into this formulation; it’s a perfect addition to partner with our Green friend!”
